Summary

The Technical Sales and Solutions Account Manager is responsible for driving and managing new direct and channel business. We are looking for a candidate, who can bring forth the technical skills of an engineer in combination with a sales background. Strong sales skills are a must, and experience in leading the prospects through the entire sales lifecycle are ideal.

This position is open to candidates remotely, based anywhere in the US.

Responsibilities

Seek, foster, and close new business deals

Deliver detailed sales presentations to both technical and non-technical buyers

Respond to RFIs/RFPs

Provide ongoing support to prospects and customers during the sales process

Experience with using a CRM and demonstrated ability to maximize efficiency of to use it to complete tasks for their role

Responsible for participating in conferences, seminars virtually, in-region and nationally

Skills in managing a realistic sales funnel, excellence in following-up on inbound leads, and the ability to develop leads from your own contacts

Qualifications

Ideal candidate must have exceptional communication ability, self-motivated, with strong knowledge in application/API security, and an understanding of the DevSecOps lifecycle.

Proven track record of developing and closing new business

Experience in supporting or selling other application security technologies is a plus, but not a must.

Strong presentation skills and the ability respond to all internal and external communications (including emails, RFPs, etc.) in a professional manner is required

5-7 years relevant experience

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Up to 50% travel throughout sales territory (post COVID-19 pandemic)
